Brand Positioning

Name & Nomenclature
A brand name can be a valuable asset that can help explain your product or service to your audiences. Creating a name seems simple enough but it can actually be one of the most complex parts of your brand journey. It’s easy to get emotional with a name but businesses must approach this process strategically.
The name is just one part of the brand story. Often, a brand requires a family of names that fit together in a certain way. This is nomenclature. Think iPhone, iPad, iMac, iPod.

Brand Voice
Spoken and written words from your brand are as important as its visual identity. Businesses spend time and effort on the visual, but often don’t consider the impact of the written word on their brand’s image. With so many communication channels, writing from the voice of the brand is more critical today than ever before.
The brand voice will act as a guide to write in the personality, language and tone that is aligned to your brand irrespective of channel and writers.

Brand Experience
Be it bricks and mortar or digital, today, brands are built by customers’ experiences and endorsements. Businesses can influence what customers think about their brand with the experience that they have with it.
Businesses should view the experience from the eyes of the target customer and aim to understand their needs and how they can build a stronger relationship with them.
I will work with you to create your customer or employee experience roadmap so you can deliver your brand consistently across all touch points, choose where to focus, and keep their needs front and centre at all times.
Strategic Design Management
Design should not be treated as cosmetic. Your branded assets (be it a visual identity, app, website, brochure or physical space) must take shape from your brand’s strategy.
I will work with you and an appointed design team to bring your brand to life with the right strategic intent. I will write creative briefs, ideate, and offer critiques through the execution of the first prototypes ensuring that the output is always aligned to your needs and vision. Most importantly, I am the connecting thread between you and all design outputs.
Social Media Strategy
Social media has become a very critical channel for communicating about the brand, getting leads, acquiring customers and gathering a fan following. Social media must be led by the brand strategy for it to be stronger and more meaningful to your customers to help you create a bond and relationship with them.
We work with you to create a time-bound social media plan which will define your target audience, the best channels for your business, your voice, messaging and visual style along with posts and campaigns if required.
